Hi all, just to let you all know...
as of 11:53pm 18/07/2008 my grandson was born, weight 7lb 5oz.
My daughters waters broke just after midnight and she went into full labour about 5pm.
Just a bit of gas & air and a pethidine injection to ease the pain and all happened naturally with no problems.
I wasn't there but the father was, and he kept us up to date.
We will hopefully be visiting them first thing in the morning.

MM, I'm a bit jealous as I am not a grandfather yet. Congratulations and I hope all goes well for your daughter. Is it her first baby? There is no thrill that compares to bringing a newborn into the world. Will be thinking of you and your immediate family in the days ahead. PatS

I'm not new to the grand parent game, but this is my first blood line grand child, and it's my first borns first born
