I've noticed with my current Lancer Evo and WRX STI setups, the Lancer will spin its wheels vigorously while set in place at the starting line before the race starts. The STI, however, won't budge at all unless you put it in reverse, and then the rear wheels will spin backwards.
Now, if I take all of the Lancer's parameters and install them on the STI, the STI performs the same as the Lancer with the wheels spinning at the starting line. However, set the "Frontend" and "Handling" sections back to the STI's specs, then the wheel spin stops. However, if I have everything set to STI specs except the "Frontend" and "Handling" sections, the wheels don't spin either.
So now the mystery is, what's causing the wheels to spin at the starting line? It has to be some combination of things, but I'm having some trouble figuring out what it could be. I thought I'd post here and see if anyone else can give me some insight on it.

I should mention that this was taking place at the NHood Grimm track.
