I suppose, send it to me metallicafan128@gmail.com

but to use it, you need to have a "command here" style Windows extension, or a batch file with the command parameters:

Code: Select all

rvshade.exe body.prm n 200 200 200
Just send it to me, I'll do it for you, but you really need to learn how to do these things yourself.

Can you type out a tutorial, please?

I use optimum online to send mail and it does not let me send things to you for some reason. :(

Open Notepad, copy and paste what adamodell wrote and click save as, Save Type: ALL FIES and then name your file rvshade.BAT thats all and double click the rvshade.bat

And it has to be in the same folder as the executable.

Or you can install a command here style Windows extension that lets you just right click a folder, and click "Command Window Here" and you can type what I typed up there and it will work the same.

You just click on the folder that contains rvshade and the prm and do it.

Here is the link to this overly simplistic extension.

Oh, and one last thing, what do you do if you follow all the steps right, but in game the car is all black? btw sorry for bringing up an old topic.:(

Adamodell
If you replaced "black" with transparent in that sentence, it'd make sense to me...

Umm, you sure it was:

Code: Select all

rvshade body.prm n 200 200 200
when you entered it? And it was actually black, after you did that?

I redid it with your instructions and I'll see if it works.

No it is still black, and yes, the whole body of the vehicle is black, not transparent.

Can I at least send it to someone like burnrbr through email? He will probably fix my problem.

Gee, man, you know there is an edit button, do you not?
HAHAHAHAH!

Look who's the spammer now, MM! j/k

Well, you caught me when I was taking a shower man.

If there is a way you can send it to me, I'll get it fixed myself!

That's really odd, you spam the forum with nothingness, then you stop responding when I post.

How? Through email? Because My Optimum Can't send to your address.

Beside this 120 second post limit well, uh, limiting me, I sometimes doze off.

Um, why don't you upload it to MediaFire and give me the link?

If you can find out the problem, post it here.

Enjoy: http://www.mediafire.com/?wgm6i1dlhhq

It has all of the flaws of a modified stock car though. The stocks have shading on the PRM itself. Running a car through RVShade or ZModeler for that matter will remove the shading. So the car appears flat green in some spots.

You could edit the the textures to do shading through textures. You'll see what I mean.

RTT-Pigesque or however his name is spelled actually noted this problem on the ZModeler forums.

So I take it that it worked good?
You do understand what I mean by lack of shading, right?
