Well look what I have found from 1999.

Maybe i should upload them to RVZT just for a laugh.

Certainly you should submit them - they're as good as some of the modern repaints, if not better.

And I haven't got 'em :)

I think this was my third conversion.
The first being the Blimp Zepplin I converted and Bubba Z released.

The first released under my name was the Ghostbusters Ecto 1

Then this second conversion I released under my name.

Rooster Foghorn

Also just for a laugh I sent the 4 reskins,Tiger,Flames,Check Mate and Y2K Bug
to RVZT.Wonder what reaction that will make.

Well Rooster Foghorn just got updated.

Super Chicken 2 converted direct from MTM2
I have already sent Super Chicken 2 to RVZT.
It should appear the same time as those repaints.

All new submissions will be approved after the weekend, just to give the current listed submissions their own 15 minuites of fame, OK ? ;)

It's always the same, nothing for weeks then a sudden influx of sumissions in just a few days.

Very nice cars!
Say, have you RVZT people been getting any submissions in the RRR Installer form (it's an exe)?

Exe cars/tracks can not be submitted for security reasons.

That don't mean that maybe in future tracks/cars maybe available for download in exe format.

Yes it is very fast and nice. And maybe you'll get exe cars/tracks from RVZT in future.

If you want to know why I can't approve them as submissions, think of it this way: would you run any executable that you receive in e-mail from any unknown person? As I'm approving tracks that's what I would have to do for submissions.

So submissions will remain as archives. But I may in future turn those submissions to exes before they're posted on RVZT.

I am sure that RST would argue that point and claim that the compression tool he uses is better and smaller than zip. :ph43r:

The exe formats takes less space than zips.

I'm interested to hear for and against opinions. But this issue, the space thing, is clear, exe format takes less.

Arto,

I don't like .exe because I have no control over where it is posted. I like to unzip all items to a special folder where I can have a look at the contents and decide where I want to put it. Or if I do want to actually do want to anything with it!

GWC, i usually know what i want to do with the files inside a zip or something, otherwise i'll just move them to where they need to be.
i like the exe's :D

For now I dislike exe format because you can't see what this is doing. A great thing would be to open up a little window where all files with folder paths are showed. Anyway that way you wont be able to delete unecessary files.
So just keep the old great zipped format. 'Just my opinion :)

haha, great remember that blimp.
it had like a bazillion of polygones and with the old machine i had back then made me revolt lag big time. :)

u people r simply bein ignorant n agoraphobic.
open up ur minds! RST doesn't have nethin against da whole community, only against certain people in it. he is releasin da program 2 da whole community. certainly he wouldn't want 2 destroy everybody just because of 1 or 2 people. dat would affect da people who go 2 RRR, so he would b screwed den. not sayin dat he isn't already, bcz of my rebellion, =P, but u get ma point.
clearly I am not likin RST rite now maself, and I still accept his awesome program. pleaz keep ur opinions of the creator and those of da creation apart. da RRR Installer is a great help 2 da community, unlike RST, 4 example.
well dat's just ma opinion. cya!

Maybe you should make everybody download 7-Zip and compress them in 7z format.
...On ultra compression.

I go for quality (how close to the original the file is) and secondly how fast it is.
BTW, can I use the EXE now?!?!?
