Sort of...
All you need is... love!
No.
All you need is a Track Zone 0 over the arena.
You can add in AI nodes... that's what we worked on while you where...
Where were you?

You can also have two track zones, 0 and 1,with maybe a way to get back at the field

One big Zone 0 around the whole track, no AI nodes or Pos nodes.
And on battle tracks make sure a car can NEVER jump out of the track.
Remember there is no repositioning, the repo key is used for jumping.
If a car leaves the track he will just hang in the air until the game is over.

I dont like those so called tracks.
The cars dont try to push you out
thay dont know where to go with
no A.I. And thay can not see you.
I never liked these track as thay
are half a track you cant race.
Not for me my friends
Make a real track to race.

Thats why I offered to create AI for those tracks.

wait, are we talking about battle tag levels or battle arena levels?
Both are for online play only. Battle tag levels need no AI,
but battle arena levels need AI, not for the CPU cars, but for
other things. Manmountain's BA-AI-TEST track shown the
perfect way to do AI for battle arena tracks.

Well, I know I can create AI for the Battle Arena tracks, as they are a none RV engine supported community projects, that are based around a normal racing track.
But the Battle Tag tracks are governed by the RV engine, that is why any custom Battle Tag track needs to be placed in an original folder.

About Battle Arenas Hil
Dude they cant be played on Single Player,re-volt doesnt have a Algorithm to make them think,so they cant take decisions based on that
Stick with a normal track or make it for multiplayer,Hil I said 2 zones because there could be a new lapping battle arena, something like life counter
I dont want to work on it though
Cheers

With the right AI they can be a decent challenge or at least a basic practice/training tool.
But it would involve a lot of work with multiple AI lines and directions.
Remember, the AI cars only do what the Track AI tells them to do.

Yes, maybe after the holiday season, I'll work on a track to submit to MM for a little work on the AI
His first project looked very promising. Later,

I made my own way.
And it's much simpler.
I'll show it to you if you want.
