All the RV tutorials show you set up 3ds max.
Units Setup = "RV Tile = 25.4 Meters"
Grid and Snap Settings = 1000.
BUT nothing is said about the actual system unit needed when you export.
What is the system unit that 3ds track makers use?

Well testing with a simple plain I came up with the following for meters export.
To get the plain big enough for all 8 cars to land on the plain at the start.
I used generic units of.
Length - 1000
Width - 2000.
Exported in meters system units.

I have always worked to a standard Tile in Toyworld2, that track alone taught me how the Re-Volt track makers worked.
In max, if you use Max's Standard generic unit setup (not using any of the RV Tile stuff) You then make a box 1000x1000x1000 with a grid setup of 4x4x4, you can the extrude the sides of the box outward by 31.25 and then the 31.25 polies upward by 62.5 and this will create a perfect copy of a toyworld track tile. Just delete the part of the box that isnt needed.
It is the basis of all of my track work and gives the best frame rates on finished high poly tracks.

I just use basic 3DS Max units. ON the basis that the cars land within a 1000 x 1000 area, behind the starting line. Most of the roads I make are 1000 units wide and X units long. Simple plains in my examples. Later,

Just tried what Skitch2 suggested in his post.
It worked out fine.
Thanks Skitch2 and zagames.
