Our ReVolt Pub

So i was trying to set everything up to play re-volt with a gamecube controller, but when i finally got everything in order and the device checker recognized my actions, when i entered re-volt and went to the options to change controls, i could move to the controller, but it didnt recognize any of my inputs.
Does anyone know why this is happening? I would love to know
