This has been going on since the initial release of RVGL, but it's only been a really serious problem since upgrading the system from 14.04 to 16.04.
As soon as the window is unfocused (alt-tab, changing workspaces, update manager pop-up etc) and is in F11 full-screen mode, it minimizes itself. Happens in both linux and windows.
Is there a reason for this?
It seems to be the cause of some instability as well:
In Xubuntu 16.04 (w/ compiz) the game starts to glitch around when notifications are being displayed. The framerate visibly drops (though the fps counter stays the same), the mesh flickers around and it can very easily be provoked into freezing (sound loop, ignores input and requires manual kill) after a few rounds of bringing up and manually dismissing notification(s).
Back in 14.04 (and so I'm assuming 16.04 as well), occasionally the game will crash outright when a notification shows up.
In the default xfwm4, the game doesn't allow notifications to show at all.
