I'm sorry if this topic shouldn't be in this forum, but I would like to ask how I should go getting the password of the R3-256 installer file. Webpage link: http://z8.invisionfree.com/RRR_Racing_F ... topic=1328

The current file available on its webpage is a password-protected 7z file. I can't find any info on the page on how to get the password. I also tried asking as a reply to the forum post for the password, but still haven't got any reply or private message.

The R3-256 Installer is created by RST, so the installer is most likely passworded because you need to at a certain rank in order to download it - I'm not sure about that though. Try use the URL below as a password though:
If you are a member of RRR Racing Forum, you will for sure be told the password just by asking there. I do not recommend that you use R3-256 otherwise, download a the full installer from Re-Volt Race instead.

I tried that password and opened the file with both 7-zip and WinRAR, but I get an error message when opening it (possibly a wrong password).

I can say that the password is not the site URL. You would have to get in their IRC channel #revolt and ask them for the password. If I'm there I would tell you to watch the logo changer for clues..

Anyway, it looks like you are just looking for a Re-Volt download. Just spend 40MB of your bandwidth and download from the re-volt race link posted by urne.
