Hi Miromiro
3ds max is a complex program to learn.
I have been doing tracks for a long time.
Many years of teaching my self to use it.
And I feel like I dont know to much.
You can look on e-bay for a copy of max
or it would be better if you could get it from
a friend.
If you are new to track making then start
with some lego extreme tracks.
There are lots of prm files to use out there.
Your lego track was ok.
I tryed it.
Good luck!

No offense, but I'm waiting for new members who are actually my age and who are actually from America. Of course... too much to ask for!
Hmm practically everyone pirates Max in this community, I just know it.
Yeah miromiro, extreme tracks are a lot harder to make than you think they'd be... much much harder. I haven't even tried it and I never will.

Thanks for having a re-volt interest.
There is no rush you have a lifetime
to learn.
Just remember we are here to help you.
So keep the lego tracks coming.
For now.
And make that extreme track when the time
is right.
You have to keep learning.
So hang in there.

If you are going to download 3ds max... be sure that you got a virus with it... if is from AutoDesk, make sure, there is an infom trojan in it
___
3ds max isn't the only way to make viruses... I meant... make instances
well; learn Zmodeler and MakeItGood mode from RVA or RRR and of course RVglue

also, please dont talk about how pirate software here and software there.
talking about pirated software should be none. because the Pub staff doesnt agree with pirating software.
so please, dont ask how you can "download" a program thats thousands of dollars if you buy it. downloading these programs is illegal.
start with zmodeler or some other free 3d program.

Sorry... Won't happen again :-/
____
My advice for miro:
- Learn MakeItGood (RVA or RRR) [if anyone have other link, I'll be neutre, please PM about them]
- For Mesh Creation use Zmodeler 1.07 and for advanced use Blender (and textures will be in zmod)
and remember, not be rude to others about extreme tracks/comments, cause extreme could take one week, one month or one year!

Use Zmodeler 1.07b or 1.06f
Search for some tutorials or ask people with knowledge about Zmod, how to begin creating your own models. Me myself started with Zmodeler too before going further.

if you got 3ds max or any other widely used 3d package i woudl suggest looking into some free video tutorials found here:
http://www.3dbuzz.com
excellent tutorials to help you get started with modeling even have very good tutorial dvds you can purchase.
another site is
http://www.digitaltutors.com
they also have excellent tutorials and have a wide range of tutorials from modeling to lighting and rendering....
hope this helps in getting started with 3dsmax or whichever 3d package you deside to go with.. and even if your 3d package isnt listed for the tutorials i still recommend watching the videos as making models is virtually the same just a diffrent workflow ect so you still learn tips and tricks to help you out on the way.
