I was wondering, if I went ahead and modeled a whole track in Blender, would someone else be willing to break the track into pieces and texture them, then send the track pieces back to me in order to finish the track? My inability to texture properly with Blender (I have to rely on Lithium Unwrapper) is the only thing that holds me back from modeling my own extreme tracks.

rickyD said on rvzt that he gets his textures from typing 'game textures' into google image search.

I think you all misunderstood Aeon's question.
He's talking about mapping.

My reply applied to mapping, and finding textures if needed.

yups, i misread. i was just looking at zipper post. i could help with texturing. i dont have it down 100% but i know enough to get by. i dont have blender though. so i guess it can be exported into what ever max can open. so if not too complicated i could try to help!

Blender can import/export 3DS files, so that's no problem, but if Blender can UV map like Re-Volt would need then I sure don't have a clue how to do it.

I could do it In Zmodeler or 3ds max 8 if you want. I just need the textures in bmp format, an explanation of what needs to be mapped where, and the model in .3ds or .wrl format. ;)

Finding textures is easy, but I kind of figured it would be easier for the person doing the mapping to decide what looks best and where, wouldn't it?
